So, following almost two months in limbo due to the COVID19 Pandemic lockdown, the Housing Market is now allowed to resume progressing and completing conveyancing transactions.

The Government has issued some fairly detailed guidance on how Social Distancing measures are to be exercised and further information can be found on here https://www.gov.uk/government/news/housing-secretary-sets-out-plan-to-re-start-housing-market

Newnham & Jordan Solicitors have been working remotely during the pandemic and progressing transactions so far as possible during the lockdown phase.  Newnham & Jordan are therefore ideally positioned to take on new transactions in a safe and socially distanced manner.    All transactions can be progressed using relevant technology and any essential client meetings can be arranged in a socially distanced environment.
