Roles and Responsibilities

The main roles within firm are:

  • Trainee Solicitors/Legal Executives
  • Administrators/Legal Assistants
  • Managers/Directors
  • Charted Legal Executive (Fellow of CILEx)

Within the firm we have several members of staff that have the responsibility of supervising or managing the work of lawyers or other employees.

Age, Gender, Ethnicity and Disability

The age range of the members of staff at the firm is 16-65+, with most of the staff members aged 16-24.

Majority of the members of staff are female. Roughly 63% of staff are female here at Newnham and Jordan.

All members of staff would class themselves as White British.

None of the members of staff at the firm consider themselves to have a disability according to the definition in the equality act.  Also none of the members of staff day to day actives are limited due to heath problem or disability.

Education and Caring Responsibilities

The majority of staff members attended UK state school and have not attend University.

Roughly only 18% of our staff are the primary carer for a child or children under the age of 18.

18% of staff look after, or give help or support to family members, friends, neighbours or others because of long-term physical or mental ill-heath/disability, or problems related to old age.
