The current economic climate affects us all. If your relationship is ending, you may be concerned at the cost of consulting a solicitor. We offer an initial free consultation and  a fixed-fee for an undefended divorce or dissolution of a civil partnership. This  includes our costs for the work at under £600 (including VAT). There are additional costs payable to third parties (disbursements), which include court fees and a fee for swearing an Affidavit in support of your petition.  The court fees are currently £410, but if you are on a low income you may qualify for a reduction or remission of those fees.

You may prefer to deal with the divorce yourself and ask us to support you, for example by checking the paperwork and giving advice. We are happy to provide support on an hourly rate basis, within a cost limit that suits you.

Fixed fees may also be available for advice relating to children and financial issues arising from the relationship breakdown.

Please contact our Fiona Pawsey to discuss your individual requirements.  We are happy to have in initial informal discussion over the phone, or in person over coffee.  So why not call us now for “Coffee & Chat” to see how we can help?
