The Ministry of Justice has issued a news release, setting out that from April separating couples who wish to start court proceedings to contest the terms of their separation, will be expected to attend a mediation awareness session. This is intended to help couples consider whether mediation may be more appropriate in helping them to reach agreement, than court proceedings. Read more on the Ministry of Justice website.
