With paintings and photos from £9 this improvement is very budget friendly. If you are feeling creative you could save even more money and paint a canvas yourself.
Mirrors
By adding a mirror to your Living room or hallway in can really make the room. A mirror can also make a room seem bigger and if placed correctly it can give a room more light. Again your local B & Q, The Range or Wilko will have a great range of mirrors for any budget.
Paint
Even just a fresh lick of paint can change a rooms look and feel. If your freshening up your house to sell, it’s best to choose more natural colours as these tend to make a room feel bigger and lighter. If you wanted to do something different with a room, why not think about a feature wall, these can give a room a whole new dynamic. Painting old wooden furniture can be a great way of saving a whole lot of money, or even buying used furniture from a charity shop or gumtree and then giving it a new look with a tin of paint.
